Old fashioned

I like old things that are out of fashion. I prefer old metal cake pans instead of the modern silicone forms, whether for cake or muffins and I love old cookie cutters.

have I got for Christmas from a friend for a whole sweep of such old cutter, which she discovered at a flea market. The motives were not classic hearts, stars, moons, etc., but failed. Including the geese / ducks and birds that are now on the (near) springtime perfect for decorating, or?

An egg has also been smuggled into the decoration, although I had with the rest of the Easter decorations still wait and see. But this beautiful specimen was simply too good for the drawer! Have you ever Easter decorations?

Many of the cutters have back or a cross bracing to hold even one no longer knows when the new one.

Today seemed to us the sun and although it was non-shaded 3 degrees, the birds have happily tiriliert, when spring was finally here. It can not last long!

I feel when our holiday in Devon would be an eternity ago! Wind Chill takes the winter now, just six months (
But still the part is not done and the winter has its right to exist, whether I like it or not, so I've indulged in holiday memories (the negatives fade fortunately quickly) and
! some pictures for you picked out that I have not yet shown.

I have often wondered how black / white images with a dab of color hinbekommt and after several attempts we finally made it! Actually, it is . namely a color image with S / W effect

If you Photoscape is used it is quite simple: you need a color photo, best would be a colored object, which you want to highlight (eg ice-cream cone, the life ring). Then you go on the button brightness / color saturation and activates the curve! Now you have to try around a bit! In the lower part of the curve you have to drag the point to the right, above: the point to the left! Sounds complicated now, but is not that bad. You could call directly to see the image, the changes in the color, or a part is colorless!

Try just around a bit, it's really fun and some pictures that were previously rather boring, get a really great effect!

I found the idea of Alice , a workshop to jointly develop, to learn from each other, just great! There are so many talented artists photo of you and I have learned a lot in terms of image processing. Of course, then often times resemble the photos on the various blogs, especially if a particular technique was discovered and is making the rounds, but the I find nothing wrong. Ultimately, but everybody has their own style.

With my winter designs (some of you may already know), I would like to participate in the

Category II - freestyle!

I work with Photoscape and have not been so pleased with the textures. Unfortunately I have not figured out how I can add your own textures in the image. In many articles I have admired photos with beautiful textures, I think in Photoshop is there more options. However, I find that when PS is not progressing with learning by doing is great, as would I like to do once a course to understand the program correctly!

So I've edited the pictures just a little, highlighted the contrasts and they missed a frame. Sometimes less is more!

Those photographs were all made last winter on Sylt. The island was enveloped in a blanket of snow - a rather rare, but incredibly beautiful sight. Since the winter is not much going on, on the usually bustle term island, one can enjoy the peace and solitude mostly undisturbed.

Beloved, I am totally impressed how many of you to join my lottery and that you enjoy the prices as well! I welcome all new readers very much and am very glad that some readers have reported quiet! While you have you entered here so diligently, we have spent with friends a few glorious days on Sylt! Many of you already know that we love this island and go there as often as possible. My husband and I were married there 3 years ago and we share a lot with this unique North Sea island.

Also, our son still can not wait, it finally goes to the beach! There is no better playground is not easy!

In winter the island is so beautiful empty, you have the beach almost to yourself!
